Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you, the Shopify merchant who installs Vale AI ("Vale"), and BEACHBOARD LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using Vale, you agree to them. If you use Vale for a business, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.

What Vale does

Vale builds Shopify themes, brand kits, product pages, and related content for your store, and offers tools such as upsells, reviews, SEO, and landing pages. You also agree to Shopify's Terms of Service, which govern your store.

Plans and billing

• The free plan includes one store build. Vale Pro costs $34.99 per month in USD and includes the features listed in the app.
• All charges are billed by Shopify on your Shopify invoice. Subscriptions renew every 30 days until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from the Subscription page in Vale or by uninstalling the app. Pro features pause when your subscription ends; themes Vale built stay in your store.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable. If something went wrong, email us and we'll do our best to make it right.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing cycle, and Shopify asks for your approval when it's required.

Your content and responsibilities

• You keep ownership of what you give Vale, like your logo, descriptions, and product details, and of what Vale creates for your store.
• Only import products and use photos, descriptions, and other materials you have the rights to sell and use. You're responsible for your products, prices, and policies, and for following the laws that apply to your store.
• Only add real reviews from real customers, and only advertise offers, deadlines, and promotions you really honor.
• Don't use Vale to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, mislead shoppers, or harm Vale or other merchants, for example by trying to get around its limits or security.

AI-generated content

Vale uses AI to research markets and to write copy, design brand kits, and create images. AI can make mistakes. Vale leaves new themes unpublished so you can review them first; please check everything, especially facts about your products, shipping, and policies, before you publish. Generated images are illustrations of your brand's style, not photos of your products.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Vale running well, but it's provided "as is", and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may add, change, or remove features. If we discontinue Vale, we'll give you reasonable notice.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Vale anytime by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the app, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost profits or sales, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for Vale in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that can't be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Vale after a change means you accept it.
